Associate Interpreter, Arabic

Within delegated authority, the Associate Interpreter will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide accurate translation/interpretation from/to Arabic/English as required.
• May check verbatim records of meetings services to ensure that there is no significant difference between the interpreted and original language versions of speeches and statements that have been recorded.
• Assist in the production of accurate and verbatim translation of written and oral statements, media articles and other documents from English to Arabic and vice versa as required.
• Participate in field missions.
• Performs other related duties as required.
