Job description
Stockholm university is seeking a senior lecturer in translation science.
The Institute for Interpreters and Translators at the Swedish Institute for Multilingualism runs interpreting and translation courses at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral level.
The duties include teaching and examination in translation theory courses, practical translation into Swedish and language science text analysis, as well as mentoring graduation work. In-house research in the field of translation science is also included.
The applicant is expected to take part in pedagogical development work and the internal work of the Institute, as well as actively seeking research funding. The appointment may also include administrative tasks.
