Dr. Carmen Reisinger, Université du Mons and KU Leuven, and Prof. Susan Pickford, Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, University of Geneva, are organising an online international conference for translation researchers and practitioners.
The ambition of this conference is to propose a methodological and conceptual framework for the discussion of neurodivergence in translation studies, thereby laying the groundwork for a new “neurodivergent translation studies”. The aim is to bring together translation practitioners and researchers to foster a conversation from multiple perspectives, with a view to exploring the complexity of the neurodivergent experience as it intersects with translation in the academy, in the workplace, in the classroom, and in creative practice.
