Translation training trends by specialists in the European Master's in Translation (EMT) network – insights on innovation, technology and post-graduation employability.

Welcome to the EMT Blog

Here you will find a collection of articles written by professors, trainers, students and graduates from European Master's in Translation (EMT) programmes that form part of the EMT network, managed by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Translation (DGT). The blog enables the sharing of insights, experience and innovations, and raises awareness of and provides insight into today’s translation profession and that of the future. You will also find guest contributions from language industry experts written in one of the 24 official languages of the EU, along with a translation in English. The topics discussed concern the translation profession as taught and practised today all over Europe.
