European Master’s in Translation - Launch of the new network for 2024 - 2029

This week, the European Master’s in Translation (EMT) will launch its new network for 2024-29. This new network comprises 81 Master's programmes that have been selected for the quality of their translation studies. 

On 24 and 25 October 2024, all EMT members, from the EU and beyond, will come to Brussels for the first meeting of this network. On 24 October, they will be awarded their membership certificates by DGT's Director-General, Mr Christos Ellinides. 

Aside from celebrating the new EMT network, the 2-day meeting will also involve: 

• elections to the network’s new board
• sessions on EU projects, e.g. Translating Europe workshops, and on working better together with the language industry – with an open discussion between EMT and LIND expert group members.
