New AI-based tools by the European Commission

You may already know the AI-based multilingual services provided jointly by the EU Commission’s Directorate-General for Translation (DGT) and Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT) under the Digital Europe programme. 

Now these services also include AI-based tools to help you simplify complex texts by applying clear writing principles. 

These tools are: 

• WebText – which simplifies your language and restructures the text according to web writing principles and clear writing rules
• Accesible Text – which produces a simplified version for everyone, including people with language-processing difficulties and people for whom the language concerned is not their first. 

The multilingual AI-based services are available for public administrations, SMEs, NGOs and academia.
