Learning anywhere at any pace at any time
E-learning
E-learning gives interpreters the flexibility to follow courses at their own pace and convenience, combining them with their work schedule. A wide range of resources and courses that cater to various learning styles is available, often at no cost.
From the perspective of organising professional development for DG Interpretation’s interpreters, e-learning has significant advantages. Interpreters can participate in courses even when they cannot attend scheduled sessions, fitting their training around other work or at a time or place that suits them.
To improve the courses on offer, DG Interpretation has curated a selection of e-learning courses. These include both its own modules and courses from other EU institutions, various international organisations and LinkedIn Learning.
Consequently, DG Interpretation staff interpreters can make the most of both in-house and external expertise online to advance their professional skills, thematic and topical knowledge, language abilities and digital skills.
