The cognitive load on interpreters

The KCTI Research Corner has invited Prof. dr. Bart Defrancq, coordinator of the postgraduate course in conference interpretation at UGent and lead researcher, to present the final results of a research project coordinated with the European Commission's DG Interpretation.
The research aimed to measure the cognitive load on interpreters when working in the booth with an AI-based support tool, versus when such tools are not available.
The session will take place in English on Tuesday 22 April from 13.15 to 14.30 on WebEx.
