CLADES Conference 2026 - Critical Language Awareness for Sustainability, Solidarity & Inclusion

This interdisciplinary and student- and teacher-oriented event invites scholars, educators, practitioners, policymakers, activists, and students to explore how language and discourse shape, sustain, or challenge social and ecological (in)justice.

Contributions in a variety of formats are welcome – from traditional papers and symposia to workshops, dialogue sessions, and creative or experimental formats – within the following two thematic streams:

• Language, Discourse & Social (In)Justice
• Language, Discourse & Ecological (In)Justice
