Biography

I work currently as Head of Department I in the Directorate of Interpreters at DG SCIC. Cooperation with SCIC Partner Universities and with DG SCIC's Multilingualism Unit is one of my policy areas within my Directorate. I take great pleasure in working on this file. My previous post in DG SCIC was Head of Polish Interpretation Unit (2009-2014), and prior to that - staff interpreter in SCIC's PL interpretation unit (2005-2009). Before I came to SCIC I worked as an accredited free-lance interpreter for the Institutions. Additionally, between 1992 and 2004 I had worked as interpreter trainer in Poland.
