Follow the European Elections in International Sign
The European elections are just one year away, they are scheduled for 2024.
The elections take place every five years. They are the largest transnational elections in the world. By voting in the European elections, people living in the EU get to choose the 705 members that will represent them in the European Parliament until 2029. Following the elections, Parliament votes to elect the new President of the European Commission, which is the EU’s executive body, and to approve the full team of European Commissioners.
As we prepare for this important event, it is crucial to ensure that all deaf citizens have access to information about the democratic processes and their right to vote. For this purpose, a dedicated site has been created.
