Russian, Verbatim reporter

Within delegated authority, the Verbatim Reporter will be responsible for the following duties:

• Transcribes and/or translates assigned portions of verbatim reports, delivering, in a timely manner, the most complete, accurate and grammatically correct transcription and/or translation possible of assigned portions, subject to revision.
• Edits the text as necessary for accuracy, making the required changes for style, syntax, grammar and procedure.
• Systematically uses official terminology and relevant references.
• May perform above duties on a self-revision basis when tasked by the Chief of Section.
• Is available and reachable during work hours for any new assignments or changes in existing assignments and delivery deadlines as necessary.
• Completes in a timely manner any other tasks assigned to him/her by the Chief of Section in fulfillment of the Section's workplan.
