International conference
Event description
The conference will offer a unique opportunity to reflect on both professional and non-professional practices in community interpreting (CI) and educational mediation, with a particular focus on how these are being reshaped by technological innovation and the rise of AI-powered translation tools.
We invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit proposals addressing, among other topics, ethical and institutional challenges in interpreting, AI-driven tools for communication and learning, and sustainable strategies for inclusive mediation in multilingual settings. Case studies, theoretical frameworks, and practical applications are all welcome.
Deadline for proposals: 15 September
