Biography

Hello,

I first started working as a freelance interpreter (AIC) in 1991. I mostly worked for the European institutions, but also a little bit on the private, non-EU market. From 2000 till 2007 I also worked as a trainer at Antwerp University (HIVT Hoger Instituut voor Vertalers en Tolken), teaching interpreting from English into Dutch. As from 2007 I have been a staff interpreter at the European Commission.
