About me
Biography

Book and coffee lover, worked as a translator and a lawyer-linguist for the European Commission (freelancer), the European Parliament (contract agent), the Court of Justice of the European Union (temporary agent), as a research assistant in Greece (permanent officer) at the Centre for the Greek Language and I am currently working as the European Master's in Translation coordinator (policy officer) at the Directorate-General for Translation of the EC. Overall, you need a lot of coffee to work in/for translation :).
Translation has been either a parallel or a main occupation for me and I am specialised in legal translation, while I am a PhD candidate (expect to defend my thesis in autumn 2025) in the teaching of legal translation (to lawyers with no translation background and to translators with no legal studies).
I speak many languages and just love reading and writing books -happy to have seen 3 of my books published in Greek. Academic writing is one of my other favorite skills and I am a big fan and supporter of the KCTI, as knowledge is made to be open and shared.
