The Conference on the Future of Europe

5 April 2022
Update on ongoing activities

Another Conference plenary took place on 25-26 March, as scheduled. On the dedicated page you can find the webstreamings of both days (interpretation is available, so you can tune in to your preferred language channel), as well as several useful background documents.

The next plenary is scheduled to take place on 8-9 April.

Why not take a look at the recommendations coming from the European Citizens’ Panels too? For instance, the ones coming from Panel 1, concerning European identity, intercultural exchange and the promotion of multilingualism. Or the need to find a common language in order to facilitate effective communication among European citizens. What is your view on this?

The reports from the National Citizens’ Panels make equally interesting reading, with recommendations ranging from intensifying exchange programmes at any age between 14 and 25 in order to establish European solidarity and reduce language barriers, while at the same time promoting European values and Europe’s diversity, to the introduction of lessons on the European Union into primary school curricula.

You can still get involved and make your voice heard!
