Intern, Chinese Translation

The internship is UNPAID and interns work five days per week (full time - 40 hours).

The intern will be operating as part of the Chinese Translation Section (CTS) of CMS at UNOV, under the general guidance of the Chief of Section. The intern will learn about and familiarize themselves with the subject matters dealt with by CTS in its daily translation work with the guidance of its experienced translators and revisers; learn and develop skills and general techniques, including desktop publishing skills, through participation and practice in document translation/desktop publishing. The Intern will carry out the following activities:

• Practice and upgrade general capabilities and specific skills in the use of various translation apps terminology database, especially eLuna with all its important features and functionalities.
• Learn and perform tasks related to the work of the Chinese Desktop Publishing Team (CDPT) under the supervision of the Supervisor of the Team, as instructed by the Chief of Section.
