Language Industry Expert Group (LIND) sets translation profession priorities in its yearly work programme
The Language Industry Expert Group is formed by experts from language companies specialising in translation, interpretation, language technology, audiovisual translation, post-editing, transcreation, and creative writing. Fostering connection between the language industry and academia, the group sets key priorities for the year to come in order to tackle developments in the language profession and to support language professionals.
The LIND working programme 2026 is introduced with the following words: “Through collaboration and targeted initiatives, the LIND Expert Group aims to foster an environment in which language professionals can thrive and be appreciated.”, capturing the mission and vision of the group’s work.
