Contributing to the Knowledge Centre on Translation and Interpretation
To ensure an open and welcoming community, we are committed to making participation in the Knowledge Centre for Translation and Interpretation a respectful and harassment-free experience for everyone.
Therefore, we ask you to be respectful, considerate and collaborative.
By contributing to the Knowledge Centre, you agree to some basic rules. Please do not:
- use inappropriate language or any language that could be construed as insulting or threatening
- violate the rights of other contributors or users in any way, for example, by threatening, abusing, harassing or stalking them
- upload or make use of any content that is indecent, obscene or otherwise inappropriate or share any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
- post or publish any content or information that is false, misleading, deceptive or defamatory
- post off-topic or irrelevant contributions that are not in keeping with the purpose of the platform
- harm the discussion or community by engaging in behaviour such as constantly interrupting, disrupting or blocking community collaboration (i.e. trolling)
- make unproven or unsupported accusations against individuals or organisations
- impersonate any person or organisation, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organisation
- conduct any illegal activity or solicit conducting any illegal activity
- advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose.
Consequences if you breach the code of conduct
If you breach this code of conduct, the editorial team of the Knowledge Centre on Translation and Interpretation, at their discretion, reserves the right to:
- restrict, suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of the Knowledge Centre
- refuse, moderate (including deleting or editing), move or remove any material you contribute to the Knowledge Centre.
